Making Direct Entry Deposits to Card Accounts

Every time a new Employee Benefit Card is issued under your facility, you will receive a notice from Westpac that the card has been issued. This notice will include details of the employee cardholder and the card number.

This information must then be used to make the salary sacrifice deposits to the employee card account via the direct entry system. The direct entry system is an automated system commonly used for banking transactions in Australia by many businesses.

It is important to note that the direct entry system is the only way you can make deposits to card accounts.

To make deposits by direct entry you need to enter the information outlined in the following table in the screen used for making direct payments.

Please note that the format for direct entry systems varies between the various providers and you should consult your service provider if you have any difficulties.
